Crossfit Progress

Today is day 3 of my crossfit beginner workout. There is a print off here for anyone interested in starting up a crossfit workout from home (no equipment necessary, no gym membership necessary, hard work required). But I’m going to go ahead and list the workouts here so you can see what I’m talking about. 

Day 1

3 rounds for time of:
10 burpees
20 squats
30 sit-ups

Day 2

Tabata intervals (8 rounds of 20 secs work/10 secs rest) of the following:
Pushups
Situps
Squats

Day 3 (today for me)

5 rounds for time of:
10 tuck jumps
15 back extensions

Day 4

Rest. Practice gymnastics or something else you’re not good at. 

 

So far this workout is awesome, I’m struggling with it but I’m pushing through it, I feel it but I can still get through my work day without crying (for now), I have more energy (can’t sleep for 12 hours), I am not as hungry throughout the day, I think my body is starting to seriously transform, I woke up feeling like a new person today! 

Also on top of discovering my new fitness journey, I’ve been job hunting for a waitressing position in town (no one’s hiring I guess), researching information about going back to school to get my B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Journalism (I love writing if you couldn’t already tell) and I’m working my ass off with two jobs this week. Oh, and trying to quench my thirst for margaritas (hasn’t happened yet).
